이재균은 역사와 권력, 사회와 개인의 관계 속에서 외면되고 은폐된 시각적 사각지대인 디스비주얼(Disvisual)을 탐구한다. 그는 님비 시설의 불확실성, 우주 산업과 지방 공동체의 접점, 폐광 지역의 산업 소멸, 원폭 피해 서사 등을 통해 일상에 스며든 비가시적 압력을 추적해왔으며, 사진을 통해 ‘보이지만 보지 않는 것’을 드러낸다.
Lee Jaekyun explores the "Disvisual," a visual blind spot ignored and concealed within the relationships between history and power, as well as society and the individual. He has traced the invisible pressures embedded in everyday life through subjects such as the precarity of NIMBY facilities, the intersection of the space industry and local communities, the industrial extinction of abandoned mining regions, and narratives of atomic bomb victims, revealing "that which is visible yet unobserved" through photography.
