이재균은 바래진 역사, 권력에 의해 감추어진 것, 개인이 무심코 지나치는 역설처럼 ‘보이지만 보지 않는 것’을 세밀하게 관찰하며, 그것이 인간 내부와 사회의 구조 속에서 어떻게 작동하는지를 사진을 통해 풀어낸다. 그의 사진 기반 작업들은 9회의 개인전, 한국의 토탈미술관, 울산시립미술관 등 다수의 단체전과 프로젝트에 참여한 바 있다.

Lee Jaekyun closely observes things that are “visible but unseen,” such as faded histories, what has been concealed by power, and paradoxes that individuals pass by without noticing. Through photography, he explores how these elements operate within the human interior and within social structures. His photography-based works have been presented in nine solo exhibitions, as well as in numerous group exhibitions and projects, including those at Total Museum of Contemporary Art and Ulsan Art Museum in Korea.
